Hubert graduated from the Rotman School of Management, the University of Toronto, with a Master of Business Administration, and is a member of the Toronto Society of Financial Analysts and the CFA Institute.
Professional ExperienceHubert has over 30 years of experience in the pension and investment fields. His experience includes roles as a senior officer with a global investment dealer, a Canadian investment fund manager and two Canadian investment dealers. He has also served as the Research Director of an organization that provides pension fund consulting services to 150 of the world‘s largest pension funds. Further, he has led or co-led the investment consulting activity for national or state multi-employer pension plans in the U.S., Europe, and Canada.
Currently, he is responsible for clients in Canada, Bermuda and the Caribbean. His work includes engagements with regulatory bodies, public and private pension plans. He is a frequent speaker at events sponsored by industry participants. Most recently in June 2105, he presented to 16 nations at an IMF-sponsored pension conference.
Hubert‘s experience includes investment and governance research collaborations with scholars from the Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth College, the Rotman School of Management, the University of Toronto, the World Bank, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, the Ontario Expert Commission on Pensions and Maastricht University. His work and collaborations have been published in Canada, the United States, Europe, and Australia. He is a contributing author to the Morneau Shepell Handbook of Canadian Pension and Benefit Plans.
